Bookkeeper and Practice Manager

Job Description

Salary: €40,000 – €45,000

Location: Dublin

Amicus have been engaged by a dynamic and growing south side based Accountancy and Tax Practice to assist them identify and recruit a high calibre bookkeeper. The role will suit an experienced industry bookkeeper seeking a role with greater variety or somebody with bookkeeping experiene in practice looking to work closer to home.

The Role:

• Payroll processing
• Monthly bookkeeping duties including input of sales and purchase invoices
• Assist with practice management
• Bank Reconciliation
• Accounts payable processing and credit control
• General ledger and financial statement preparation
• Complete Revenue Returns
• Preparation of monthly/quarterly management accounts
• Prepare Non-Audit Year-End Accounts
• Company Secretarial compliance with the Companies Office
• Perform other related duties as required to support clients

The Person:

• Likely ATI qualified but qbe candidates will be considered
• Ideally 4+ years’ work experience as a Bookkeeper or Staff Accountant
• Demonstrable high level client facing experience
• Good communication skills
• Working knowledge of a variety of accounting software packages such as Relate, MicroPay, QuickBooks, Sage, Xero
