Finance Director

Job Description

Amicus have been engaged by a leading player in the Renewable Energy Sector to assist them recruit a Finance Director. The company is ideally placed to continue to capitalise in the growth of the renewables market having already completed some significant projects. This position would suit a commercially focused finance director keen to make their mark in a potentially career defining role.

The Person:

• Commercially savvy
• Demonstrable experience in sound strategic decision making
• Qualified Accountant
• Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
• Ability to guide and inspire a team
• Experience with mergers and acquisitions
• Accurate with good attention to detail

The Role:

• Oversee the finance function and lead the finance team
• Manager the strategic financial planning process
• Analyse and identify key targets for the business in acquisition and delivery
• Provide in-depth analysis on suitable acquisition metrics; delivery metrics etc
• Carry out a comprehensive review of all systems and internal controls
• Ensure key financial processes, controls and systems are in place to facilitate the business scaling efficiently
• Partner with the CEO to enhance Board level reporting to provide solid forecasting and analysis of key metrics within the business
